Greetings from La Befana’s Table!
Last weekend we gathered for our first ever #halfwaytobefana gathering hosted at the Cascades Guest House and Permaculture Sanctuary in New Lebanon, NY.
I almost didn’t do it cause I came up with the idea for it a little late but I decided to just go for it, because failure, from my perspective, only occurs when we allow our doubts and insecurities to stop us from acting upon the urges of our Soul.
And I’m sure happy I did act on it because what was revealed to me in the process was the deeper purpose of La Befana’s Table podcast, which is the building of actual community inspired by my ancestral cultural heritage, and open to and inclusive of all.
Here are a few pictures and clips from our magical day together. We hope you join us for future gatherings both online and IRL.
Thanks to our incredible collaborators in mischief and merrymaking for making our first ever Halfway to Befana gathering a magical one.
Melissa Laurita Kohl, our Herbs + Pasta = Magic facilitator
The amazing Beth Ann Mastromarino who gave us an incredible intro to the ancient rhythms of the pizzica. Click play to find out what to do when the devil of doubt attempts to rob us of our beautiful dreams.
And last but not least Michael Pergola from the Cascades Guest House and Permaculture Sanctuary for the hospitality and the out of the world sauce that made our herbal pasta, that much more magical.
